You mentioned in yesterday's post that "this is harder than it seems" – I agree. I've taken several hundred shots of flowers at our Botanical Garden and the vast majority just haven't come out the way I had expected. You'd think that taking shots of beautiful flowers would be relatively easy, but its that intangible of getting the light just right in the shot ... which you have done brilliantly here. Beautiful colors ... beautiful composition ... beautiful shot!

@Ron: Thanks! This was actually just done on my kitchen counter with the afternoon sun shining in the window. The second shot was a reflection of the flowers in the granite counter top from the overhead kitchen lights.
Just perfect.

I've seen lots of tulip shots...this one is unpretentious...that's why it caught my eye.

Looks washed out to me. What happened to the saturation? Bad exposure or what?
